We are available to discuss any problems you may have. Handpiece Specialists Provides • Free estimates on in-house repairs. We provide an estimate on factory repairs, however, some manufacturers have estimate fees that range from $20 - $40. • Rush repairs when needed. • Assistance with maintenance procedures, upgrading handpieces & attachments. • Handpieces are disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned to ensure that new parts are not contaminated with debris left in handpiece, to keep fiber optics bright, and air/water lines clean. Highspeed handpiece handles are polished, as needed, to remove signs of rust and debris, especially on connector threads. • If we are unable to serve you, you will be refered to other businesses who can. • We strive for 24-hour turnaround for all in-house repairs. • We use only high grade bearings (ABEC 7). Highspeed Handpieces • We service most handpieces from manufacturers such as Midwest, Star, Kavo, Impact Air, Athena/Champion, Schein, MTI and Generic (canister wrench or push button turbines). • Bearing/O ring replacements - range from $68 - $79 • Rebuilt turbines (wrench style only) - from $85 - $125 • New turbines available depending on manufacturer and whether you want a factory or after market. • Fiber optic replacements range from $80 - $130 depending on brand and model. • We have a 6 month warranty on our repairs and most new turbines. Slowspeed Handpieces • We service most brands and an average repair is approximately $80. • Major overhauls range from $100 - $150. • We do have flat rates, but minor repairs and adjustments are charged by the time taken. • There is a $20 minimum charge. • Slowspeed handpieces are disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned and all defective parts identified and replaced. • Your handpiece is then adjusted, lubricated and tested. Attachments • Repairs average around $40 for contra angles, nose cones, prophy heads and ball bearing latch heads.
